Molds are tiny fungal organisms found in the environment. They can grow in homes and on building materials and they release spores that become airborne. Mold can become problematic when it grows in homes or workplaces, usually in a damp environment. It can cause issues such as allergic reactions, irritation, headaches, and ongoing immune system issues when exposure is long term.
Envirocheck provides mold inspection, testing, and consultation services for both surface and air mold presence to detect and eliminate the problem. We have AIHA accreditation and our own on-site laboratory for sample analysis.
Bacteria refers to the billions of microorganisms that share our environment. They are in the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the surfaces around us. Many are beneficial, but some may be harmful to humans, causing everything from headaches to allergies to gastrointestinal upsets and diseases. Of particular concern, especially in hospital and healthcare settings, is MRSA, or Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (Golden Staph). It can be extremely problematic and is difficult to treat when a human becomes infected with it.
